It is known not just for its pleasant climate, but also for the longevity of its inhabitants, which attracts the most visitors. Hunza is a fairy tale land and a lot of myth and reality has been associated to it.

"Over every Mountain there is a path,
although it may not be seen from the valley".

This lake is covered with lush green meadows and one of the beautiful lakes in the World. Its a beautiful destination for all the tourists around the World. The water, which is crystal clear, is sourced from the streams that course there way down the mountain.

SKARDU

In the extreme North of Pakistan, Skardu the central valley of Gilgit-Baltistan is an essence of beauty, serenity, peaceful and heavenly. Some of the World's snow covered peaks including K2, Gasherbrums, Broad peaks and Trango Towers and the huge glaciers Baltoro, Biafo and Trango.

This amazing view is captured by me when I go to the Skardu with my friends, that was a very greatful memory and a very beautiful destination.

Moreover the delighted Deosai(National park) is also located in Skardu.
Deosai is a treeless wilderness at 4114 meters lying south of Satpara. The park was established in 1993 to secure the survival and habitat of some animal species like Himalayan Brown Bear. the plains are also known to high altitude animals like Red Fox, Snow Leopard, Golden Marmot, Himalayan Ibex and Ladakh Urial as well as migratory birds among which the Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Lammergeyer, Sparrow Hawk, Laggar Falcon, Kestrel and Snow cock.

Deosai, literally the "Land Of Giants" is accessible via Skardu in the North and Astore in the West. The weather is quite unpredictable here, sometimes it starts snowing in summer. This area remain uncross-able for ages due to abundance of variety of  wildlife here. So Deosai is mostly uninhabited.

K2 THE SECOND HIGHEST MOUNTAIN

K2 is commonly known as 'Savage Mountain' due to its difficult ascent and high fatality rate. Its peak rising 28,251 ft. (8,611 m) above the sea level. K2 was originally named by British surveyor named T.G. Mongomerie back in 1852. The 'K' was reference to the Karakoram mountain range.

"K2 is not some malevolent being,
 lurking there above the Baltoro,
 waiting to get us.
 It's just there. Its indifferent
. Its an inanimate mountain made of rock, ice and snow. the 'savageness' is what we project on to it, as if we blame the peak for our own misadventures on it".

The Italian climber, Ardito Desio, led the first successful ascent of K2 in July 1994. It was a controversial climb with only 2 members team.
